RESEARCH OVERVIEW
The Lizarraga laboratory primary focus is to understand the basic molecular and cellular mechanisms that contribute to neuronal circuit formation during normal brain development and in disease associated conditions. Using human stem cell models and mouse models, we investigate common biological mechanisms underlying the pathobiology associated with disorders of neuronal connectivity.
